Pilot? Intro? uh

This isn't my first time making a blog. I've had Tumblr, Ad-content, and many more in the past, for different purposes.

Although, this is  probably the first time I've ever made one for the intent of keeping people up to date with my activities. The biggest reason why I've turned to one of these, is because each and every other E book author, have been avidly advising people to make a blog, mainly because in this day and age, you can't just make a book, and then expect it to sell on it's own, it doesn't work like that. I did for sometime believe that though, not necessarily just with books, but from back when I was in a band, that was constantly releasing music. In this case, blogs are more so for the reader to get to know the author.

So, on this blog I'll be telling you about the progress of the story, it's characters, maybe... a bit of the plot, and some of my goals regarding writing. Maybe. I'm actually a very private person to be honest, it took a lot of courage to even want to sell this E-book. Even now I'm still a bit reluctant on doing so.

On October 7th, 2014, "The Other Side", will be released as an E-book for almost every reading device; (Nook, Kindle, you name it), for 6.49. It can be lent to others for a certain amount of days, and can be previewed. (Try it before you buy it, right?)

It makes me happy to finally say that it's happening, I've been waiting for this day for almost 6 years now. After writing, editing, constantly deleting, I believe that the book finally reached the goals that I wanted it to.

Anyway, you can expect a lot of promotions and stuff, but now with the little experience I have, I know better than to advertise this story to people who don't really enjoy reading unless if they have to, *cough cough, college textbooks*.

For now, I highly recommend this book towards people who enjoyed "The Hunger Games", "The Giver", and "The Maze Runner". Why? Because each and everyone of those books that I mentioned are what we would classify as dystopian novels, one's often recognized for it's acts of dehumanization, usually radiating from a group seeking a perfect environment.

Thanks for reading guys, my next post will be a bit about my main characters. Maybe.
