A little about me and stuffs

I figured instead of delving right into the stories details, I'd tell you a little about me.

Where to start...

Well, I'm 20 years old, I'm an online student at Northampton Community College, my hobbies include eating pizza, writing, and extensive hours plugged into video games. I have 2 cats, and one dog.

I know, I know. You're probably wondering why reading wasn't in that list. Well to be honest, I don't really enjoy reading. Don't get me wrong, I have read a couple good books here and there (outside of school), but idk, it just really wasn't my thing. By the time I would get past the first 3 words, I'd end up daydreaming about the books words, or just dazed off in general. It's pretty frustrating, trust me. I didn't try with just one book.

Although, there were a couple that I did read and enjoy. I'll list my top three.

  1. The Giver (great concept)
  2. 5 People You Meet In Heaven (this made me tear up)
  3. Tuesdays With Morrie (this one made me cry)
Okay, so two of those are by the same person. But those are the only kinds of stories I enjoy to be honest. Sure, I don't read, but the video games I play (RPG,Adventure) often are only purchased for the story.

Final Fantasy VII is my number one favorite game, story, you name it. Just everything about that game is perfect to me.

The story spoke out to me because I bonded with the characters on many personal levels, I felt like I actually understood them. Then the plot, made me feel like I was personally involved. I mean, yeah sure, it's a video game that progresses based on my efforts, but still.

The game was actually powerful enough to inspire me to write. I wanted to re-create the same feelings that it allowed me to feel- excitement, fear, and occasional frustration when my characters died. These were all elements that I wanted whatever story I wanted to write.

That dreams about to come true, even if it doesn't sell well, I know I personally had fun, despite the fact that it took me almost 6 years. Or 7. Idk, I'll count later.

Anyway, thanks for reading guys!
